Building a Great Future Since 1994

Shayona Cement Corporation Limited stands as Malawi's largest local cement manufacturer, transforming the nation's construction landscape since 1994. From our humble beginnings producing 100 tons per day, we've grown to become industry leaders, capturing 25% of Malawi's cement market while pioneering innovative solutions that meet international standards.

Shayona Cement was born from a vision to address Malawi's cement shortage and reduce dependence on imports. What started as an ambitious idea became reality in 1997 when we launched our first cement brands, AKSHAR and BUILDPLAST, from our manufacturing plant in Kasungu District.
